Our printing process
At 3dBZH, we use FDM 3D printing to produce large, precise parts in the plastic of your choice.
ABS or ASA plastics
We offer ABS or ASA plastics to suit your projects, available in black, white or gray. Both offer good mechanical strength and heat resistance, up to 90°C. ASA also offers good UV resistance, making it suitable for outdoor use, although it is slightly more expensive.

Threaded inserts
If you wish, we can add threaded inserts to your print! 3dBZH uses heat-set brass inserts offering excellent mechanical strength. If you wish to use them, please leave a note when placing your order. We may contact you for a diagram if their location and size are non-trivial.
Soluble Supports
We use soluble substrates during printing. This enables us to create complex structures without compromising the surface quality of the final parts. Once printing is complete, 3dBZH removes the supports, leaving a smooth, clean surface.

Technical Specifications
- Maximum print size: We can print parts up to 80x80x80 cm, giving you great flexibility for your prototyping and short-run projects.
- Layer height: Our prints are produced with a layer height of 250 µm, guaranteeing an optimum balance between cost, printing speed and surface quality.
- Shell and Infill: We use a shell thickness of 3 mm and an infill of 25%. This choice ensures good part strength without requiring an excessive amount of filament, particularly for parts with a large internal volume. On request, these settings can be modified to meet specific requirements.
Precision
Our prints respect dimensional tolerances of ± 0.5% or ± 0.5 mm (whichever is more permissive).
